FAQ
Questions,
and how we answer them.
Common questions about booking, paying for, and managing flights with WiseTravel. If yours is not here, write to us at [email protected].
No. You can search and book as a guest — just provide your email and phone number at checkout. Creating an account makes it easier to manage bookings, view past orders, and save passenger details for future trips.
After a successful booking, we send a confirmation email with your order details and booking reference. You can also access your order anytime using the link in the email — no account required.
This depends on the fare conditions of your ticket, which are shown explicitly before you pay — either a specific cancellation/change fee or a clear non-refundable/non-changeable status, never an open-ended “see airline rules”. If your booking is refundable or changeable, you can manage it directly from your order page, and all fees are displayed before you confirm. Just after payment, while your tickets are being issued (shown on your order page as “Issuing tickets”), changes and cancellations are briefly paused and reopen as soon as your tickets are issued. Cancellations and changes are only possible before departure: once the first flight has departed, the ticket is strictly non-refundable and non-changeable.
Once your refund is approved, WiseTravel returns the funds to your original payment method within 5 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a little longer to appear on your statement.
We accept major international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and selected regional methods including Alipay and WeChat Pay. Methods available may vary depending on your billing country and the airline’s settlement currency.
Yes. You can select your preferred display currency from the currency selector in the top navigation bar. Prices will be shown in your chosen currency where available.
No. The total amount shown at checkout — including all taxes, carrier surcharges, and our service fee — is exactly what you pay. There are no charges added after booking.

Most international itineraries require passport details to be entered before ticketing. Where they are mandatory, the passenger form on the booking page will flag them as required and refuse to advance without them. For domestic itineraries within a single country, a government-issued identity document is normally sufficient at the airport.
Many destinations require passports to remain valid for a defined period beyond the date of arrival — six months is a common threshold, though it varies by country and citizenship. We recommend checking your destination’s official entry requirements before confirming a booking.
Yes. The passenger picker on the home page lets you add adults, children, and lap infants in a single search. Once a fare has been selected, the booking form will show a dedicated passenger card for each traveller so you can capture the correct details and any age-specific information.
Every confirmation email contains a link to the order page for that booking. If you have a WiseTravel account, your orders also appear under My orders alongside any other bookings you have made with us.
When an airline reissues a flight schedule, we relay the updated times to the email address on the booking. The order page reflects the new schedule shortly after we receive it, and our support team can help you understand the options the carrier has made available.
This depends on the fare conditions of the original ticket. Where the fare allows changes, our support team can assist with the rebooking. Any difference in fare, plus the carrier’s change fee where applicable, will be quoted in advance for your approval.
